Cairo (Diplomat.so) – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Monday received Saudi Arabia's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, at Al-Ittihadiya Palace in the Egyptian capital, according to an official statement.
At the outset of the meeting, Prince Faisal conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to President El-Sisi and the Egyptian people. President El-Sisi reciprocated by asking the minister to extend his greetings and appreciation to the Saudi leadership, along with his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the Kingdom and its citizens.
The talks focused on the strong fraternal relations between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, as well as recent regional and international developments of shared concern.
