Mogadishu (Diplomat.so) - The Ministry of Health and Social Care of the Federal Government of Somalia, received, on Wednesday, in Mogadishu, 1,500 oxygen cylinders from the Hormuud Salaam Foundation, as a humanitarian donation to confront the oxygen depletion disaster in Somalia to save Corona patients.
Ali Sheikh Yasin, a senior member of the Hormuud Salaam Foundation, handed over oxygen cylinders to Minister of Health Dr. Fawziya Abikar Nur, to confront the Corona pandemic and the state of hypoxia in most cases, announcing that HSF is ready to respond to emergency situations and the important basic needs of the Somali people.

For her part, Minister of Health Fawziya Abikar thanked for this donation, saying that oxygen cylinders would be provided in isolation hospitals in Mogadishu.
De Martino Hospital in Hamarweyne district is the only one in Mogadishu that treats Corona patients.
