Lisbon (Diplomat.so) - Somali non-resident ambassador Mohamed Ali-Nur Haji has formally presented his letters of credence to the President of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, during an official ceremony in Lisbon. The presentation marks the start of his full diplomatic mandate as Somalia's representative to Portugal.
During the meeting, Ambassador Mohamed conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, to President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa and the people of Portugal. He also reaffirmed Somalia’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between the two countries.
