Tehran (Diplomat.so) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baqaei condemned the visit of Israel's foreign minister to the Somaliland region, describing it as a violation of Somalia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Baqaei cited the international community’s emphasis on respecting Somalia as an independent nation and UN member, warning that attempts to partition the country could set a dangerous precedent in international relations.
He called for global cooperation, including among Islamic and African nations, to uphold Somalia’s sovereignty and prevent actions that could undermine the legal foundations of the United Nations.
