Mauricio Pochettino dismisses pressure at Tottenham from Daniel Levy

London ( Agencies + DIPLOMAT.SO) – Mauricio Pochettino is not interested in leaving Spurs for either Manchester United or Chelsea, but would be tempted by the chance to manage Barcelona or Real Madrid, according to reports from The Sun.

The Argentine has assembled the youngest team in the Premier League and taken them to fourth place in the table, just five points behind leaders Leicester City. Antonio Conte, the current Italy coach, is also admired along with Pochettino.

The Tottenham gaffer has revolutionised things in North London.

The Tottenham boss is on the radar of both Manchester United and Chelsea as they step up potential manager hunts.

Levy’s relationship with Chelsea is frosty to say the least, since the Blues signed Willian from under the noses of Spurs, although the two clubs may yet share Wembley as a temporary home for one season while their respective stadiums are built.

Former Southampton boss Pochettino has flourished since moving to White Hart Lane and he’s on course to lead Spurs into the Champions League for the first-time since the 2009/10 season; where Gareth Bale captured the limelight with a hat-trick against Inter Milan.

“Chelsea need to forget about him and get someone lined up now”.

At this stage the 43-year-old has no plans to listen to any other offers from Prem sides as he continues his plans to make Spurs a top four force.

Given that Pochettino is contracted to Tottenham until 2019, negotiations could be fraught. Six years later, Tottenham stood firm as Chelsea bid about £35m for Luka Modric, even though the playmaker had expressed a clear desire to move on.
