#Somalia : Ugaas Abdirahman buried in Halgan District, Hiiraan region
Beledweyne, Hiiraan region, Somalia ( DIPLOMAT.SO) – Ugaas Abdirahman Ugaas Khalif Ugaas Roble,Sultan and leader one of the largest Somali clans, has been buried at the Daru-Ugaas cemetery in Halgan District, Hiiraan region, Central Somalia .
The prominent Sultan of Hawadle clan died on Sunday morning of a heart attack at age 61 in Beledweyne city, the capital of Hiiraan region.
On Tuesday, Minister of Homeland Security Abdirizak Omar Mohamed, Minister of Interior and Federal Affairs Abdirahman Mohamed Hussein Odowaa,Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Mohamed Mukhtar Ibrahim,Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports Mohamed Abdullahi Hassan Nuh,State minister for Presidential Affairs Mahad Mohamed Salad,some members of the Federal parliament,some chieftains of the Somali clans and other Somali government officials joined the representatives from segments of the local community for the funeral prayer at the Abdulkarim Laqanyo Stadium in Beledweyne city.
In keeping with the Somalia’s Hawadle clan traditions, the Ugaas Abdirahman was buried next to his father’s grave, in a cemetery in Halgan District, which includes only the tombs of the family.
