First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah

Mogadishu (DIPLOMAT.SO) – According to news sources from Aden Abdullah International Airport, that the high-level delegation from the Arab League countries, headed by First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah arrived on Thursday in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, departing from Khartoum.

Among the Arab league delegation some Arab foreign ministers, which includes Mauritania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Ahmed Ould Teguedi and Arab League Secretary General Nabil Al-Araby.

Reports say that the visit of the delegation will take one day .

The delegation is scheduled to meet, in the Somali capital Mogadishu, with President of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud and a number of senior Somali officials in order to emphasize the Arab solidarity with the government and the Somali people, to support all efforts to restore security and stability throughout Somalia and to promote its prosperity.

This one-day official visit is part of Kuwait’s presidency of the current 25th Arab Summit and Mauritania’s presidency of current session of the Arab League Council.
