Angel di Maria convinced to be in the ranks of football players for Manchester United
Manchester ( Agencies + DIPLOMAT.SO) – Manchester United winger Angel di Maria has insisted that he is not concerned his recent goal drought as he has admitted that he is pleased with how he has started life with Louis van Gaal’s side.
The Argentine hit the ground running at Old Trafford following his £59.7m move from Real Madrid as he netted three goals in his first five matches for the club.
However, the 26-year-old has failed to hit the target since October 5 in his side’s 2-1 win over Everton, and missed a golden chance to end his run against Arsenal last week in stoppage time.
Di Maria told the Daily Mail: “I’m not worried about that I think things have gone well since I got here. I’m doing all right with goals and assists.
“There were one or two games when I wasn’t playing at the same level as I had at the start, but well, I guess that’s pretty normal when I’m getting used to things, isn’t it?
“The truth is that I’m pleased to be here in Manchester. Being here is something really important for me, so from that side of things I’m really pleased. The rest will come.”
