Asmara ( DIPLOMAT.SO) – A business delegation of Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) paid a visit to Asmara between 4-7 November 2014. 113 Eritrean businessmen attended the 1st Turkish Eritrean Business Meeting in Asmara Palace Hotel.

The Turkish government is trying to gain Africans to expand its trade and cultural relations with most African countries.

This visit is the first of its kind by foreign delegates, because of absence of political and diplomatic moves by the Eritrean government, which are in a difficult time, dark and last days according to political and security analysts.

The international community continues to follow the ongoing events in Eritrea of torture , violation of human rights and illegal arrests against politicians and clan elders.
