Mogadishu, Somalia ( DIPLOMAT.SO) – Defense Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia Major General Abdulkadir Sheikh Ali Diini has condemned yesterday’s attack by Al Shabaab on Somali National Army (SNA) and MISOM’s Kenyan Defence forces (KDF) base in El Adde town of Gedo province.

“Cowardly attacks such as this attack will not deter SNA and AMISOM from clearing Al-shabaab in our country. The terrorists have proved to be not only the enemies of Somalia but also the region” he said.

Diini said the attack will only bolster the resolve of the joint forces to defeat Al-shabaab which he said was throwing the last kicks of dying horse.

The minister has expressed his condolences to the families of the fallen heroes.
